Why the Mirror Dinghy is important to Cornwall as the region plays host to World Championships

Small and feisty and designed for anyone – the Mirror dinghy has stood the test of time since it was created in 1963 and is an important part of Cornish sailing. This month the World Championships will take place in Cornwall.

In fact one of the men behind the design of the tiny boat with a big personality had a home with a workshops in St Mawes and often tested his boats out on his twin sisters who lived in Cornwall.
