Nude Photography, Why do we love it?

As we discussed it here before, the naked body can be considered the maximum form of art in its purest form. Among the many forms of art that we mentioned, one of them stands out for the growth of its popularity. And it is not a surprise since we live in a world where internet and social media allow us to share content of every kind. These includes of course, the spread of artwork. Without a doubt, the net has seen many great artist post their work online. Among these art expresions, is photography.

Now, photography is one particular way to make art. It captures the real world in the most natural way. Of course, natural sights, animals and unanimated objects are targets worth of a good shot. But, like in other forms of art, it always ends appreciating the beauty and complex of the human being. Now that everybody has a smartphone, we are all constantly taking pictures of ourselves and other people. Weddings, birthdays, reunions, parties, every moment is good to take a picture.

But the main purpose of this article, just like every other in this blog, is to appreciate nudism and the naked body. Every photo is supposed to have a purpose. Art buff: what it’s like to be drawn in the nude
When Chloë Hamilton was given the chance to pose for a naked portrait, she was keen. But then it was time to get undressed…

The hardest part is taking off my knickers.

In fact, when she arrives, I can’t help but play for time. I offer her a cup of tea, first, spending an unnecessary amount of time filling the kettle, selecting the mug, brewing the tea and pouring the milk. I make polite chit-chat about the weather and her journey.

I suggest she uses the upstairs loo rather than the one in the hallway, knowing that the journey up and down the stairs will add precious seconds to the trip and delay the inevitable.

Eventually, there is no avoiding it. I slip off my dress and underwear and perch on the sofa. The cushions feel rough on my exposed thighs. She positions me and then makes herself comfortable on the floor. Legs crossed, she fixes her eyes on my contorted body, her hand poised over a sheet of paper. “Ready?” she asks. Kiwi farmers are removing their overalls and gumboots in a lighthearted bid to raise awareness about the mental health crisis in rural communities.

Amid stubbornly high suicide rates among the rural community, Australian Ben Brooksby launched The Naked Farmer social media site last year.

Artistic performance brings together 115 naked people at the Museum of the Republic
The photo clicked by photographer Kazuo Okubo occurred during event that aimed to scare away the old-fashioned of the capital

Enquanto os termômetros marcavam 24Cº na capital federal, um grupo de 115 pessoas tirou a roupa e posou nu para o fotógrafo Kazuo Okubo em frente ao Museu da República de Brasília. O evento, que ocorreu durante a manhã deste sábado (02/9), se chama “Fotona” e faz parte da Cena Contemporânea. Segundo os organizadores, o clique rendeu o recorde de maior número de pessoas nuas em uma foto no Distrito Federal.

Responsável pela idealização, concepção e produção do Fotona, Diego Ponce de Leon, 35 anos, conta que o evento tem como objetivo ir de contra o momento de caretice e conservadorismo instalado na capital federal. “Nossa Brasília está se tornando uma cidade dormitório. Ninguém pode cantar, rir ou se divertir durante a noite. Vivemos um monte de lei do silêncio, bares sendo fechados, artistas sendo calados.
