Recorded crime in Devon and Cornwall sees a shocking 17.4% increase between 2016 and 2017

The new figures, published today by Devon and Cornwall police for the period between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017, show a rise in recorded crime for our force area including Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Officers said they have seen a 17.4% increase between July 2016 and June 2017 and that Devon and Cornwall follows the same rising trend as the whole of the UK.
