Paradise Gardens Resort, Cincinnati’s only resort for nudists, has been sold to a developer, ending decades of clothing-optional camaraderie and controversy, according to resort owners.
“What I’ll miss most of all are the people. All the friends you make. It was like a big family,” said Ron Coleman, president of Paradise Resort Inc., operator of Paradise Gardens on Blue Rock Road in rural Colerain Township.
The little-known nudist resort spread across 34 acres was sold Friday for an undisclosed amount to a Cincinnati-based developer who plans to build five new homes on the property, according to Coleman.
Coleman said he doubts the new homes will raise the ire of neighbors, who occasionally have complained about the resort and even banded together to block proposed developments there. Cont…Read full original article…
