Police issue naked e-fit in appeal to find flasher who jumped out of bushes
Police hunting a naked flasher have helpfully issued an e-fit picture of a suspect – who is topless.
To help jog the public’s memory even further, instead of just a headshot, Surrey Police took the unusual step of including the collar bones and top chest in the e-fit image.
Officers would like to speak to a 6ft 3ins naked giant in connection with a report of indecent exposure on Headley Heath, Surrey, on the afternoon of August 31.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was walking through the heath when a tall, naked man jumped out from behind the bushes. Cont…Read full original article…

‘Flat-earthers’ are resorting to old school techniques, presumably because the government are spying on them with chemtrails, and jet fuel doesn’t melt steel beams.
New Zealand resident Dr Stephen Voss shared a photo on Saturday, purportedly taken on a beach in a suburb of Dunedin.

Cornwall’s eight most mysterious unsolved murders and missing person enquiries
These cases have all left investigating police officers baffled and out of leads
Murders and missing person enquiries are always disturbing, even more so when the police are unable to get to the bottom of them and there remain more questions than answers.
Some of the killings were brutal, almost unimaginable in their depravity and the crimes horrified communities and stumped police — leaving questions that lingered for decades afterward, as years passed without a police arrest or even a credible suspect.
We’ve taken a look back at some of the most high-profile Cornish mysteries that remain unsolved to this day. Cont…Read full original article…

Life is full of opportunities. Some you jump at, go after, grab. Others, you take a pass, let go. Hopefully that decision is made after careful consideration. But sometimes time isn’t on your side and you have to go with a gut reaction. But when you do have time, you need to make sure your decision is based on sound reasoning, on facts, on “the important stuff”. Unfortunately, for many, decisions are often made on supposition, misconception, misunderstanding, and emotions like fear and lack of self confidence and self esteem. Those decisions can lead to the R word — regrets.
Regrets….well, they suck. Just no other way to put it. Wishing you had done something, tried something, said something different than what you did, can be hard to live with. It’s like a recurring nightmare that pops into your head every now and then to remind you — you make mistakes, your not infallible, and this one time…..you blew it. Great, thanks. Experiencing the memory of a regret leaves you hollow, again, kicking yourself for the decision you made, no matter how understandable it might be.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. The way I try to look at events like these aren’t as a regret, a moment where I blew it. But as a time where I learned a lesson in how not to do something. What’s that old quote about Edison inventing the light bulb and not having success after many attempts. “I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”. He didn’t regret those 10,000 times. He learned from them. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have liked to have had success on attempt #1. It just means he didn’t dwell on all the misses. He kept moving forward. Cont…Read full original article…

Byron Bay is renowned as a global destination for free-spirited tourists, but locals say a clothing-optional beach to the town’s north is attracting sexual predators.
Colleen Graham lives at Tyagarah, just off the Pacific Highway in northern New South Wales, and said she could no longer walk through the local nature reserve or along the beach without being confronted or harassed.

I first heard of nude spas when a friend visited Spa Castle in Queens. She said it was a place for women of all ages and sizes to bathe together, feel free in their own bodies, and accept nudity as a beautiful part of life. That sounded lovely to me, and as a person who has myriad issues with self-image, I thought a naked spa might be just the thing to help me accept my body for what it is. Or I could wind up crying and feeling like a gross failure. Oh, body issues, thank you for the roller-coaster ride you bring me every day!
Public bathhouses, called jimjilbangs, are common in South Korea. Though the nude rooms are segregated by gender, these spas also contain full floors of saunas for everyone to enjoy together. In Korea, it’s common for families and friends to happily hang out naked at the jimjilbang, get scrubbed, and enjoy a variety of pools and steam rooms. This tradition has fortunately come to America, and where I live—in L.A.—there are many to choose from. The spa I selected is located in a blank, beige building off a busy street in Koreatown.
I was surprised that at 1:30 p.m. on a Monday there were so many people putting down $25 for a little naked relaxation time. While I knew about traditional Korean bathhouses and remembered my friend’s tale of the all-size spa she enjoyed on the East Coast, I quickly realized my experience was going to be a little different. I promptly noticed most of the customers were tan, young, and very attractive. Thanks, L.A.! Still, I was excited to overcome my fears and have fun. Cont…Read full original article…

Israeli Olympic swimmer’s new innovation lets you skinny dip without being totally exposed
Have you ever wanted to go skinny dipping but were too embarrassed to expose your private parts to the entire beach? Guy Barnea, an Israeli Olympic swimmer, found a solution with his new innovation: a floating clothes hanger upon which people may hang their swimsuits deep in the water and retrieve them before returning to the beach.
Israeli Olympic swimmer Guy Barnea has come up with a new innovation aimed at helping those interested in skinny dipping without exposing their private parts to the entire beach: a floating clothes hanger. The innovation, which is currently in the midst of a crowdfunding campaign, proposes to install floating clothes hangers within the ocean’s waters, where those interested in skinny dipping can leave their bathing suits in order to swim naked. However, the catch is that they will be able to wear their swimsuits before and after entering the water without showing off their goods to other beach-goers.
“Following a video shoot that included skinny dipping, I was surprised by the liberating pleasure that this experience provided everyone, which is completely different from the experience of swimming in bathing suits,” Barnea explained. “In my opinion, this is a business potential that has not properly been realized to date. Many people will pay for the experience, just as they are used to paying for enjoyable experiences such as watching a movie or eating at a restaurant.” Cont…Read full original article…

Cont…Read full original article…

In San Francisco you’ll see naked people on bike rides, lounging on Baker Beach, running in the Bay to Breakers or walking around at the Folsom Street Fair.
A few years ago Bay Curious listener Kelly Hardesty was walking in the Castro with her daughter when they saw a naked man, who wore nothing but white tennis shoes. Her daughter said, “Mommy, Mommy he’s naked.” She replied, “Yeah, he is.”
Kelly didn’t want to make a big deal about it, since it wasn’t exactly the most unusual sight in the city, but then a mailman looked at her and said, “I remember when I first started my route, and that used to shock me, too, but now I don’t think anything of it.”
That got Kelly wondering:
“Is it legal to be naked in San Francisco … and if so, has it always been that way?” Cont…Read full original article…

New dad Keith Mallon has been heaped with praise after daring to appear in public wearing just a pair of swimming trunks, less than six months after his wife Jean gave birth to their first child.
33-year-old Mallon took to the swimming pool at his local leisure centre wearing just a pair of three-quarter length Nike shorts and a pair of Speedo goggles, leaving onlookers amazed with his post-birth figure.
Although some people were put off that Mallon would be showing so much skin in public so soon after his wife went through 46 hours of labour, many others rushed to commend him for bravely flaunting conventions that new dads should hide their bodies away.

Bates Beach nude section reestablished
Bates Beach is nude again (with conditions) thanks to long-term efforts of SCNA & Friends of Bates Beach
North Rincon Beach (locally known as Bates Beach, named after the beach’s access from Bates Rd.) is at the southern tip of Santa Barbara County, just north of Rincon Point.
The beach was once a safe, family-friendly environment that attracted several hundred people on summer weekends. On the convenient eastern end, people in bathing suits came to exercise their dogs and watch the world-class surfers practice their skills. The more remote western end served many people who enjoyed a clothing-optional beach experience. These traditional uses of the beach served the public well for over 40 years
Beach tourists ate at local restaurants, stayed in local hotels, and brought in estimated half-million dollars into the local Carpinteria economy. A cooperative attitude worked well for the local community and allowed law enforcement officials to focus on significant incidents.
In 1977, in response to complaints of inappropriate behavior at several other nearby nude beaches, the county passed an ordinance banning public nudity throughout Santa Barbara. The law was used to close most of the beaches to nude use, except Bates, which continued on with few problems for another 20 years. Cont…Read full original article…

12 Progressively bold things to do naked
Being naked feels great, doesn’t it? It’s the way we came into the world, and it’s the way nature intended us to be.
The feel of the sun, wind and water against our bare bodies is so natural and freeing.
The ancient Greeks knew this and celebrated the naked human form, especially when it came to sports and competition. In fact, the word gymnasium comes from the Greek word “gymos,” which literally means naked.
The original Olympic games featured nude athletes running, wrestling, and boxing. In Sparta, even the female athletes competed naked, much to the enjoyment of the Spartan boys who were allowed to watch.
We also know that ancient cultures in Egypt, India, and the Orient practiced nudism. And many remote tribes in Africa and South America wear little to no clothing even to this day.
Why did we start wearing clothes? Cont…Read full original article…

‘It is such a liberating experience’: Naturists get real about life in the raw
A naturist lifestyle is about much more than getting your gear off.
When executive Stuart Whelan first decided to visit a nudist beach, he didn’t tell his wife. But she had suspicions he’d been up to something.
“When I got home she looked at me and said ‘Where have you been? You’re just beaming’”, he says. “I’d always planned to tell her, and she said ‘Wow … I’ve got to have some of that.’”
Thus began a journey that led Whelan, in his early 50s at the time, and his wife, from their corporate life in Sydney to owning and operating a naturist retreat in Nelsons Bay. For Whelan, getting naked in nature was “transformational”. Cont…Read full original article…

One of the most common nightmares people have is standing in front of a room full of people completely naked. That moment, although in our subconscious, leaves us feeling shamed and embarrassed.
But why should it? After all, being naked is our natural state.

I Stopped Hating the Huge Scar on My Leg and Started Wearing Shorts
My daughter taught me an important lesson about body positivity.
My mom first saw the little purple dot on my left leg when I was just a baby. As I grew, it did, too, into a big, ugly mass of veins and scab-like lesions from my knee to my foot. It’s what’s known as a cavernous hemangioma, or a tangle of abnormal blood vessels that essentially make up a benign tumor. Yup, it’s a mouthful. Only in adulthood would I finally know the name for what made my leg look the way it did.
What I had was so rare that at the time, no doctors knew what to do. I saw countless specialists in Toronto, where I grew up, and even in the United States, flying down to Boston with my mom when I was little. I had MRIs and enough X-rays to make me feel like I would glow with radiation. But due to how advanced my case was, doctors kept saying there was nothing they could do.
Before I had surgery at the age of 15, my entire left calf and foot were noticeably bigger than my those on my right, and swollen with purple veins. My leg didn’t bother me all that much physically. I mean, it ached a lot if I stood for a while, and when I started to shave, I had to avoid the scab-like portions or they’d bleed for an hour if I mistakenly cut them. Otherwise, I could walk, run, ride a bike, and do whatever else kids did. It was the emotional stuff that was the real problem. Cont…Read full original article…

Something that has come to my attention recently is the whole body image concerns for young people on social media. When I think back to my teenage days in Secondary school, I could only think that I was UGLY!
When I was at school I remember worrying about what I would do if a boy spoke to me. I was extremely shy mainly because I tried to avoid situations where people would find out about my burns. I did eventually meet a boyfriend and had an encounter with him where he put his hands on my back and I ran away. I could only think he would ask me what was under my clothing and I would burst into tears.
Whilst in school during physical education lessons I would have to wear some very short shorts. Due to my burn down my leg, I would use my arm to cover it. This wasn’t very helpful when it came to rounders and cricket where I had to catch a ball. I would try and use the toilets during lessons so I wasn’t caught looking at myself in the mirror otherwise all the girls would laugh at me…well that’s what I thought. In class I would sit at the back because I was scared to be seen putting my arm up or answering questions. Why would someone like me answer questions? I seem to always have the answer correct but felt that everyone would laugh at me if I got it wrong. It was better for me to not be seen in class and just hide at the back. I was unable to concentrate in class because I was worried someone would brush by me and I manoeuvred around everyone so they didn’t find out about me and my burns. Cont…Read full original article…

Andrew Welch would like to make it clear he has never had an orgy, thank you very much. Nor has he ever cavorted, prepared to cavort or even thought about cavorting. He is not a pervert, he is not corrupting your children, and he is not – for the love of God – ‘offending’ you. Andrew Welch is just a naturist, like millions of other people, and he’d love for you to join him some time.
“The British public tend to have this absurd stigma about it,” Welch says, with a touch of exasperation. “It’s about nakedness in general. They think there’s something immodest or unnatural about it, that by being naturists we’re doing something illicit. It’s so far from the truth that it’s laughable, it really is.”
Welch has been Commercial Manager for British Naturism (BN) – the national organisation for social nudists – for over a decade, joining a small and committed staff of part-timers at the Northampton-based non-profit.
It’s his job to change minds and address the reputation surrounding a pursuit many dismiss as distinctly odd, conducted at best by elderly eccentrics with an unnerving love of volleyball, or at worst by sex-crazed elderly eccentrics with an unnerving love of volleyball.
Cont…Read full original article…

Do naturists have the right idea raising kids around social nudity?
A study shows those who spend time naked or partially naked around others like their bodies more, regard themselves more positively and are more satisfied with life.
Growing up, Andrea Budzey’s only notion of being naked in a social setting was through hearing about so-called nudist colonies.
But after passing the sign for Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park on Highway 404 near East Gwillimbury, Ont. for years, she had grown curious.
“I found out that naturist meant nudist, because I was unfamiliar with the term. And then I was just blown away knowing that it was actually close to where I lived,” she says.
A new mom, Budzey decided that a visit to Bare Oaks should go on her bucket list. So on one beautiful summer day when the weather was just right, she packed up her then five-month-old son and made the trip.
“I loved it. I was hooked. I met a wonderful couple with kids. Everyone seemed very friendly. I went swimming with my son.” Cont…Read full original article…

On the eve of my travelling to the Highlands in late July, arrived an email from Joanna of All The Young Nudes – the Scottish life drawing organisation that runs groups in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen. I was invited to bring Spirited Bodies to the Edinburgh Fringe festival again, as one of ATYN 4 special events there. I was offered dates and was immediately keen; August generally being quiet meant I had time, and it had been such a fun gig last year.
I first worked with Joanna in 2013 when Lucy, Thelma and I had driven to Scotland and created 3 separate Spirited Bodies events – one in Glasgow at The Flying Duck with ATYN; and two in Edinburgh – one at Marchmont St Giles Church hall, and one at St Margaret’s House (formerly Arts Complex).
Time was short as the next day I was travelling North, and for all I knew might well have poor connectivity once in the Highlands. So we quickly arranged a date, and I made the necessary bookings for transport and a room. I also put out a call on social media to let people know that I was coming – and was looking for people to try modelling for the first time, as well as for experienced models keen to join in. Steve would unfortunately not be able to join me this time due to work commitments, which he was very sorry about, partly because he likes joining in the modelling, also the social aspect of meeting all the models. And then there’s visiting stunning Edinburgh! Cont…Read full original article…
