Mystery over naked women concept plan solved
Concept drawings for a makeover of a Dunedin river appear to include three naked women.

The Otago Regional Council (ORC) released its “visionary concepts for enhancement of the lower reaches of Water of Leith” on Thursday morning.

A review of the concepts reveal some extra enhancements along the river, which borders Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The proposal for the normally frigid waters, famous for having students kayak along them when flooded, includes three female figures in the water.

The intrepid trio appear naked at first glance.

ORC stakeholder engagement director Sian Sutton said the figures were brought up at a council meeting.
