Esperance nude beach ban open to comment

The Esperance community will be asked to comment on whether vehicle access should be banned from a beach frequented by nude sunbathers.

The Shire of Esperance council at Tuesday’s ordinary meeting accepted the recommendation of the off-road working party, which put forward the beach access closure proposal at its most recent meeting.

A part of the coastline west of Esperance, 10 Mile Lagoon, is a designated “free” beach — that is, a nude beach — and the council working party wants to prevent vehicle access between the 10 Mile Beach and 11 Mile Beach carparks. Read full original article…
