Fuming pensioners claim lockdown is being flouted at their local beach by an influx of nudists.
Residents said naturists were dumping cars outside their homes before heading off for daily strolls in the buff.
They now fear naked ramblers breaching official travel restrictions could bring the deadly virus to Stevenston, Ayrshire.
Grandad Willie Duncan, 70, who lives near Ardeer Beach, said: “I just don’t think it’s right. It makes me really angry.
“They shouldn’t be travelling from outside the area during lockdown. People turn up in cars, leave them outside our houses, then walk over.
“That’s despite the council closing off the car park. I maybe see ten to 15 of them here a day.”
Retired joiner George McKenna, 71, added: “I worry it’s not safe.

“Some of them are clearly coming from other places. One of them has parked outside one house every day. You wouldn’t think it’s good for germs.

The beach is described by Naked Scotland as having “plenty of scope for nude walking”. The website adds: “The local dog walking fraternity don’t pay any attention — no need to hide.”
