For some of us, losing weight may seem like an almost impossible task, especially if you have a phobia of doing any type of physical exercise. But it is possible to lose weight without going to the gym.
Of course, practicing some form of exercise regularly helps you lose weight and speeds up the process, as well as helping build muscle and tone your body.
This is simply because consuming fewer calories is the result of what you burn. And practicing exercise helps increase caloric expenditure.
According to the Mayo Clinic, in the United States, if you reduce or consume between 500 and 1,000 calories a day, you will lose an average of half a kilo per week.
So as long as you can maintain or the necessary caloric deficit of calories consumed you can lose weight even if you never set foot in the gym.
