The Coast At least ten beaches to explore sandy, surfing, rock pools lifeguards in attendance at popular locations. Amenities There are many attractions within easy reach to suit all interests and pockets - walking, ancient sites, King Arthur; moorland, valleys, woods as well as National Trust properties, theme parks, steam railways, golf, fishing - and so on Favourites Why not browse through our own booklet of favourite places to visit? Or borrow a map for walks and cycle paths. Local Facilities Our local Country Store is excellent, the Wainhouse Inn is renown for its home cooking and, together with Post Office and garage, all you need is just two miles away Additional Information Pets We welcome pets as long as they do not disturb other campers and are kept under control in the camping area. All dogs should be kept on a lead within the camping area and the camping area is not to be fouled. Dogs can be walked off lead throughout the adjacent farmland as long as they do not disturb livestock or wildlife. Children (under sixteen) MUST be accompanied by an adult when in the farmyard. Young children are expected to be within sight of their parents, who are responsible for their safety and behaviour. Naturism You can go anywhere on the farm as nature intended, except the farmyard. Strangles, (an unofficial beach) is five miles away. Couples and families are welcome to be naturist as and when they prefer. We have many 'first timers' and families where not everyone joins in the naturist way (at least not to begin with!). |
